SurfAid is a non-profit (NGO) humanitarian aid organization with offices in the USA, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand.

SurfAid continues to grow and in turn develop a highly professional and accountable organizational structure. Since the 2004 Tsunami and the March 2005 Nias Earthquake, SurfAid has provided disaster relief and increased its commitment to developing long term sustainable community health through the prevention of treatable disease and community education.

SurfAid’s expansion has allowed us to greatly increase our scope of work and the number of beneficiaries we will assist with country boards established in Australia, New Zealand and the USA.

SurfAid’s new organizational structure has improved and expanded our governance and management systems allowing for the recent formation of an international board of directors from each country board. The new team assumes overall responsibility for the global activities of the SurfAid group of affiliates and is supported by the country boards, the international advisory board and program committee.
